ミッション：８ミニッツ 頑張れ! Go Source Code!

Source Code (Mission:8minutes) has been screening for two weeks in Japan.
It seems that this film keeps up to a higher rank among the recently released films.

I've already seen it four times in cinema so far.
I can see the story of Source Code more and more for every time I watch it.
Really it's great story. I can understand the reason why Jake Gyllenhaal was fascinated by it.
There is a tender human drama and a hero's sentiments on difficult situations. It's not only a sci-fi action thriller.
That's the reason why I do love Jake Gyllenhaal.
I'll trust Jake for what he chooses any roles. so I'm sure the next movie of him will be great as always!!

すでに４回観ましたが、観るたびに物語の細部を把握することができます。本当にストーリーが良い。

何故、ジェイクがこの話に魅了されたのかよく解りました。
そこには人間ドラマがあるし、困難な状況に立たされた主人公の心理が細やかに描かれていて、ただのSFアクションスリラーではないんです。
だからジェイクが好きなんだな私は。
次にジェイクがどんな役を選んでもきっと素晴らしい映画になると確信してます。
彼を信頼してますから。

C : It's a pleasure meeting you. You're one of our favorite actors in the world.

JG : That's very nice of you!

C : [Chic sighs... catches breath] Tell us about your involvement with the Edible School yard.

JG : I've been involved with them for a couple of years. I'm titled by Alice Waters, the ambassador of the school yard. I got involved because the dinner table was always a place, since I was a young child, where we got to get together, and I actually got to know my family there more than any other place in the world. I grew up growing my own food in our family garden. One of my best friends is a farmer. It's been a primary focus of my life.

C : We love food!

JG : I didn't realize that I grew up in the slow food movement.
I see children who didn't know any of these things-that they can grow their own food and learn about vegetables when they are at a primary level. It was everything to me, so I wanted to be involved. since knowing about this organization, I've done everything I can.

C : What's your favorite vegetable?

JG : I'd say right now, after an extensive search over the years and living the wonderful life that I've had so far, and after tasting many, many vegetables.... cavolo nero. It's like a really soft kale. You can eat it any form cooked, raw.

C : We trust anything you say. Let's backtrack... How do you know a farmer?

JG : I was raised in Los Angeles, but I spent my summers, since I was born, in Martha's Vineyard. My best friend, since we were little kids, lives there, and he's a farmer. His whole family farmers.
I know it might seem odd. but it's what I love more than anything. Being in gardens have been some of the most wonderful time of my life. Washing lettuce and watching things grow... you feel connected to the world. you'd be hard- pressed to find anything that connects you to the universe in the same way that planting a seed does.

C : That's so sweet! And now you've got a beard like a real farmer.

JG : Seeds of growth!

JG:私は自分がスローフードの活動の中で育ってきたとは知らなかったんです。子ども達は、最初、彼らが自分の食べ物を育てる事ができて、野菜の事を学べるという事を知らなかったんです。それは私の全てで、だからこの事業に参加したいと思ったんです。この組織の事を知ってから、私の出来る事は何でもしてきました。

C:お気に入りの野菜は何ですか？

JG:それはですね、何年も広範囲に及んで探し、今のところ素晴らしい生活を送ることができ、沢山の野菜を試して。。。Cavolo neroですね。やわらかいケールに良く似ています。どんな形でも食べられますよ。調理しても生でも。

C:言われる事は信用しますよ。話を戻しましょう。どうやって農家の事を知るのですか？

JG:私はロサンジェルス出身ですが、生まれた時から夏はMartha's Vineyard で過ごしました。小さい時からの親友がそこに住んでいて彼は農家なんです。家族は皆農家です。おかしく思われるかもしれませんがそれが何よりも私の好きなことなんです。菜園にいることが人生の中でもっとも素晴らしい時間の一つなんです。レタスを洗って、物が育つのを見る事。。世界とのつながりを感じますよ。
なんであっても、見つけようとする時に苦しむ時、宇宙と繋がります。それは種を植えると事と同じ道のりなんです。

C:素晴らしいですね!今あなたは髭をたくわえておられますが本当の農家みたいですね。

JG:成長の素（種）さ！

Let's make the boom of Source Code in Japan! ミッション：８ミニッツを盛り上げよう!!

It's not long since Source Code was released in Japan.
I saw already many articles about SC. The movie critics prize it highly.
The first day of SC, the audiences were almost males, when I was at the theater in my town.
They look like geek of sci-fi. It seems that this movie is liked by sci-fi maniac!?
Does it means Jake didn't rocks Japanese women so far?? hummmmm...
I'm expecting Jake makes a big wave in my country!!

Source Code is really worth waiting for.
Amazing movie.
I couldn't leave the seat of theater for a while.
Now I can see what Jake Gyllenhaal said about this film in many interviews.
That's Deep.
I can't express well my feeling. Because there are many kind of emotions in my heart.
Jake Gyllenhaal's performance was great. Of course Michelle Monaghan and Vera Famiga were great too.
I couldn't help crying since I saw the scene Colter calls his father.
Really it's a good movie.
Definitely Source Code will be successful also in this country.

I'm going to go to the theater to see Jake's Colter as much as possible!!
I know I'm crazy.

Was this your last project together?

"We saw each other afterward a few times on a presonal level, but that was our last work together. That was so perfect. It was not just that Jake Gyllenhaal was doing the part, whom I'd been in love with since he was three years old. The first time I saw Jake he was running across my in-law's back lawn to the pool.  because he was best friends with my twin nieces, and I remember turning to my sister in law and asking, "Who is that beautiful child?" He just was magical, always, so generous and open.
I remember the sixth grade show they had at the end of the year. There he was, this sixth grade boy, and he stood up and sang "The Music of the Night" from Phantom of the Opera. What a song for an eleven year old! I thought, this kid is a star.Whether or not he's going to be movie star, who knows, but he's a star in the world, because he's luminous."

Don't you wish you had a video tape of that?

"We do have it on video! My in laws have it. It's just crazy, we looked at it on Thanksgiving, still before he became a star, and I thought it all over again. So, for me to be acting with him-and also with Buddy(Swayze), who in many ways was a hero of mine, because he'd been the first person from our acting class who'd really made it, and aho'd been a big influence in teaching me to love and accept myself as a character actress- the role became kind of true to life. It was a magical experience doing that film, it really was."'
